Mon Jun 06 ’16 Announcement from Vivid Vision: a VR system for Lazy Eye

We are happy to announce that the Vivid Vision Home Beta will start soon!

It has been about two years since the alpha was released to all of our backers! Since then we’ve released a clinical version which is now in eye clinics across the US and Canada. If you want to find an eye clinic using Vivid Vision please go to our doctor locator. We’ve received a lot of amazing feedback from the doctors using our system in their clinics, and we’ve used that make the home version even better.

Now, we are beginning the Home Beta and planning to release it later is year for GearVR, Oculus Rift, and the HTC Vive. If you backed the IndieGoGo campaign you will get first priority and the cost of the beta software itself will be free. Vivid Vision must be prescribed by an eye doctor, so participation in the beta will require one. For all the information, go here. Make sure to mention that you backed the campaign, and to provide the same email address you used when you backed it.

Thanks so much for your help! Without you, none of this would have been possible!

Wed Apr 27 ’16 Announcement from The Mims: Beginning

Hi everyone,
The Squatting Penguins team here.

After spending 4 years on making The Mims Beginning in our small team we’d like to present to you a launch trailer for the game’s release on the 18th of May.

[some people say that trailer is very funny 🙂 ]

It is truly incredible how a indie game, as opposed to triple-A titles, can get recognition thanks to the kindness of people like you. There’s been plenty of ups and downs and we have managed to finish two crowdfunding raises on and indiegogo. A simple ‘thank you’ won’t ever convey the gratitude we feel towards you. You helped immensely us by playing the game, providing feedback or simply encouraging us. The “pre-release” update for the game is already available on Steam. This version is the final version; the only possible changes would concern the difficulty optimization and bug removal. (maybe adding some very small features also)

Soon we you will get e-mail with info about sending your perks. We will send it before Release but because of long distances it could take even 1,5 month for you to get package. We will inform you when we will send perks. No need to worry 😉

All right, that’s enough babbling from us. Just pick up the game and see for yourself. Have fun!
P.S You remarks and bug reports are still very important
